Vaginal Electrode included as standard.
This is an excellent unit following the success of Tenscare's new "I-Touch" range of TeNS devices.
I-Sure has been developed in conjunction with professional incontinence advisers making the best use of their experience combined with feedback from Tenscare's own customer base.
I-Sure has four pre set programmes addressing Urge, Stress and Mixed Urinary Incontinence, plus General Toning to keep your muscles in full trim. I-Sure is also suitable to treat Faecal Incontinence via the use of an optional Anal Probe.
I-Sure is also suitable for male use but you do need to be aware that the instruction booklets are 99.9% female orientated. The electronic programmes for male and female application are the same. For addressing urinary problems females would ideally (but not always) use a vaginal probe as this is the easiest and most precise way of reaching the correct muscles. With I-Sure Males use external self adhesive skin electrodes for treating Urinary problems and an Anal probe For faecal problems. Apart from this difference, instructions and programmes are the same!
Please note I-Sure is a single channel device and so simulataneous stimulation with vaginal (or external) and anal electrodes is not possible with this device.

A common and often immediate effect of damaged or out of condition Pelvic Floor Muscles is a significant reduction in sexual pleasure. Long term effects can be more serious and lead to embarrassing urinary incontinence which itself is a massive problem throughout the UK.
67% of female incontinence is caused through childbirth. Large babies and caesareans births cause even more damage to muscle fibres and sensory nerves. Restoring Pelvic Floor Muscle condition, and in some cases sensory nerve conduction to its former strength, can only be effectively achieved by EMG - Biofeedback and or Neuromuscular Stimulation. This form of treatment has no side effects and has a proven track record of significant success.
Incontinence comes in several forms :- Genuine Stress, Urge, Frequency, Weak Pelvic Muscle, Pain Syndrome, Lack Of Sensitivity, Pain or any combination of these conditions. They can all have a profound effect on your quality of life.
There are four alternatives to treating these conditions:
Kegel Exercises are taught and promoted in every maternity unit and they're the basic weapon of every continence clinic. Performed properly and regularly over a period of several weeks they can be effective. However it's surprisingly difficult to focus these exercises correctly. They're boring to do and most women simply give up trying long before any effect is achieved.
Surgery is the very last choice as this treatment is invasive, takes time to heal and more often than not creates other complications.
Drugs are expensive and often cause unwanted side effects. Some drugs are only effective while being taken.
EMG and STIM (electronic stimulation) have no side effects, are easy to administer and have a very positive track record for improving continence and lack of sensitivity. (The latter cannot be helped by drugs). This form of treatment is used on a much higher and professional level in France, Finland, Norway, USA and Sweden. France, for instance, has over 4,000 specialised clinics focussing on Pelvic Floor recovery following childbirth. This product is eligible for VAT Relief. Therefore:
